Contractors with the Idaho Transportation Department will make traffic signal improvements at two Kimberly Road intersections in Twin Falls from Thursday, Oct. 29, through Friday, Oct. 30, the City of Twin Falls announced.

The work will take place at Locust Street and Blue Lakes Boulevard, according to the city. Crews will install new permissive-protected left-turn signals at Kimberly Road and Locust Street and replace signal cabinets and detection equipment at both intersections, the announcement said.

Lane closures are scheduled to begin at 9 a.m. each day, and the traffic signals will be down for about six hours daily, the city said. Flaggers will direct traffic at the work sites, according to the announcement.

The city said drivers may avoid the intersections or plan for delays. Questions about the project can be directed to Electric One West at 208-735-9578, according to the announcement.
