College of Southern Idaho’s volleyball team swept No. 14 Snow College 3-0 in Twin Falls on Friday, Oct. 9, according to the College of Southern Idaho Athletics announcement.

The Golden Eagles won the sets 25-21, 25-19 and 25-16, the announcement said. CSI took a seven-point lead early in the opening set and held on to win it, then closed out the match with wins in the next two sets, according to the school.

CSI hit.213 as a team, compared with Snow’s.062, and recorded 35 kills to the Badgers’ 28, the announcement reported. The school said CSI also had 33 assists and six aces.

The victory left CSI with a 15-5 overall record and a 4-1 mark in conference play, according to the announcement. The teams were scheduled to meet again Saturday, Oct. 10, at noon; the announcement did not specify a venue for that match.
